Mahsuri opens Bandar Enstek sauce production facility
Mahsuri has opened a sauce production facility in Bandar Enstek, combining automated processing with rotary koji technology and plans for regional exports.

Sauce manufacturing in Negeri Sembilan
Mahsuri Food Sdn Bhd has launched its new sauce and condiment production facility in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. The approximately 45,000-square-metre manufacturing hub produces Mahsuri sauces, including soy sauce and oyster sauce. Automated processes cover preparation, bottling and packing, with quality controls across the production sequence.
The facility is intended to support growth in domestic and regional markets. Future export development is aimed at Southeast Asia, the Middle East and India. The Malaysian Investment Development Authority assisted with licensing and coordination during development, alongside the state government’s investment agency, Invest Negeri Sembilan.

Koji production and quality controls
The plant in Bandar Enstek was officially opened on 22nd May 2026 by Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Utama Haji Aminuddin bin Harun. Its rotary koji-making machine controls temperature, humidity and ventilation during the koji stage of natural soy sauce fermentation. Mahsuri expects more precise and stable processing to improve production consistency and operating efficiency.
Mahsuri states that the facility has obtained halal certification from the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia, JAKIM. Its operating controls extend across raw-material selection, processing, hygiene and storage. The company identifies opportunities for skilled local workers in:
- Quality assurance.
- Research and development.
- Production operations.
- Technical support.

Earlier development plans
Mahsuri held the Bandar Enstek groundbreaking ceremony on 18th May 2023. At that stage, the project was planned as a 24,000-square-metre plant with manufacturing and warehousing facilities, a quality-assurance laboratory, a research and development centre, offices and social facilities. The operating-start target then was early 2025; the formal opening took place in May 2026.
In May 2023, MIDA chief executive officer Datuk Wira Arham Abdul Rahman described the plant investment as worth more than RM250 million. The earlier project plans also included developing local skills, with a commitment that at least half of the new workforce would be skilled personnel. Mahsuri sauces had been available to Malaysian consumers since the late 1990s.
