We welcome proposals about business, finance and the decisions that shape companies. Start with a specific question, a fresh reporting angle and evidence that a reader can assess.
What to send
- A working headline and a short outline of the story.
- The main findings you expect to establish and the sources available.
- The proposed language, format and any time-sensitive event.
- Your relevant experience and any connection to the organisations covered.
Sources and rights
Identify the origin of quotations, figures and supplied documents. Disclose payments, employment, investments and other interests that may affect the story. Confirm that you can license any photographs or other material you supply. Do not send confidential documents that you are not entitled to share.
Editorial review
A proposal does not guarantee acceptance. We may request further reporting, evidence or revisions. Publication, timing, attribution and any fee must be agreed before a commissioned contribution is delivered. Company announcements should be identified as such.
