ArtiCast Jackson plans to invest $10.3 million in a manufacturing operation in Jackson, Tennessee, at the former Pace Industries facility. Pace closed the site earlier in 2026. ArtiFlex Holdings announced its acquisition of the casting facility on September 15, 2026, alongside the launch of the ArtiCast Jackson business.

The company expects to create 100 jobs there by 2031. Its high-pressure die-casting equipment includes machines rated at up to 1,800 tons. ArtiCast Jackson will draw on other group businesses, including ArtiCast Tooling and AutoMatrix, for tooling and automation support. The investment plan targets components for several industries:

  • aerospace, drones and defence;
  • automotive, commercial trucks and aftermarket applications;
  • humanoid robotics, industrial equipment and agriculture.

Casting capabilities in the wider group

Falcon Lakeside Manufacturing joined the ArtiFlex family of companies in May 2025. Based in Southwest Michigan, Falcon specialises in high-pressure die casting. The partnership took effect immediately, while Falcon retained its existing name. ArtiFlex expected the combination to expand its technical capabilities and support manufacturing solutions for automotive, industrial and commercial customers.

At that time, ArtiFlex's operations included more than 600 employees and nine locations in Michigan and Ohio. Its services spanned design and innovation, engineering, tooling, automation and manufacturing for metal stampings and assemblies. The company supplied equipment manufacturers and large tier-one suppliers, including Class-A surface stamping dies and production for low-volume specialist products. ArtiFlex had established an employee stock ownership plan in 2024.

Tooling for complex castings

ArtiCast Tool and Manufacturing, an ArtiFlex family company, acquired General Die and Engineering in September 2024. The Grand Rapids, Michigan, business engineers and manufactures large, complex high-pressure die-casting dies, plastic injection moulds and other mould tooling. The acquisition added its engineering team, production capabilities and tooling technologies to the group.

ArtiFlex identified tooling for large aluminium and magnesium castings, as well as moulded structural parts, among the capabilities it wanted to develop through the General Die and Engineering acquisition. The company expected the additional expertise to support vehicle closure and structural assemblies, with goals for optimising their mass and cost. That programme covered process development, tooling and manufacturing for equipment manufacturers working on future vehicle designs. ArtiFlex expected future electric and hybrid vehicle structures to combine stamping and castings.
