Paragon Films plans stretch-film manufacturing in San Luis Potosí
Paragon Films plans a Mexican manufacturing site with Windmöller & Hölscher equipment, extending its production footprint beyond three U.S. states.

Manufacturing expansion into Mexico
Paragon Films plans to expand its manufacturing operations into Mexico through the purchase of a facility in San Luis Potosí and the installation of Windmöller & Hölscher equipment. The stretch-film manufacturer announced the project on 10 April 2025 and expected the site to become fully operational in December 2025.
The Mexican plant will serve customers in Mexico, Central America and South America. It will extend a manufacturing network with existing facilities in Oklahoma, North Carolina and Washington. Paragon also anticipated employment opportunities in the region as part of the planned expansion.

Earlier investment in North Carolina
Paragon held a groundbreaking ceremony on 26 April 2023 for a 70,000-square-foot warehouse expansion at its manufacturing facility in Taylorsville, North Carolina. Thirty participants representing Paragon, its private-equity owner Rhône and Alexander County attended the event. The project was the first expansion since Paragon purchased that land.
The warehouse addition was expected to increase the plant’s manufacturing capacity. Paragon’s May 2023 schedule targeted completion in February 2024 and estimated that the project would create 14 jobs in Alexander County. These figures were the expectations published when construction was launched.
Machine-film product range
Paragon introduced Beyond PCR in 2024 as a thin-gauge machine stretch film offered in 55 gauge. The product belongs to the company’s SVPR range, named for Sustainability: Virgin Plastic Reduction. Its post-consumer recycled resin options comprise:
- A version containing 25% post-consumer recycled resin.
- A version containing 10% post-consumer recycled resin.
Paragon introduced the film as a product designed to reduce virgin-plastic use. SCS Global Services certification was pending at launch. The company offered the machine film nationwide and directed customers to its representatives for product information.

North American production and products
Paragon linked its North Carolina warehouse project to growth over the preceding five years. The company also envisaged further expansion at Taylorsville beyond that addition.
Paragon Films was founded in 1988 and is headquartered in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. The company develops stretch-film products, with activities extending from film design and formulation to their application by customers.
