Rostelecom has completed the acquisition of a 45% stake in Ertek LLC, the developer of the ECVI property management system for accommodation facilities. The transaction expands the telecom group’s participation in hotel-management software. The purchase price was not disclosed.

The buyer was Rostelecom group company Comfort Service LLC. The transaction was registered on December 24, 2025, according to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities. Ertek’s chief executive and co-founder, Sergei Dudin, retained the remaining 55% interest.

Ertek was founded in 2012 as a developer and supplier of hotel-management solutions. Its flagship product is the ECVI digital platform. The company recorded revenue of 20.5 million rubles for 2024. The platform forms a core element of Rostelecom’s Digital Hotel ecosystem.

Digital Hotel ecosystem

Digital Hotel combines Russian industry software and digital infrastructure for accommodation businesses. Rostelecom offers the ecosystem to properties of different sizes, including hotels, apartments and recreation facilities. Its scope extends from digital infrastructure to communications with customers. The hotel property management system integrates with Rostelecom’s digital products offered across the country. The company presents these tools as a way to improve automation and guest service.

Management priorities

Timofei Abramenko, Rostelecom’s vice president for product development and SME relations, described Digital Hotel as a strategic project for the hospitality market. He expects the Ertek investment to support the development of an ecosystem that helps Russian hotels improve service and competitiveness. Rostelecom also expects integrated tools to help accommodation businesses optimise expenses and reduce the sector’s dependence on foreign suppliers.

Earlier partnership

Rostelecom and Ertek signed their strategic partnership agreement on November 19, 2025. Rostelecom’s role is to provide infrastructure and digital services, while Ertek supplies the core property management system that connects the products into one ecosystem. Rostelecom has pursued its hospitality-industry approach since 2024. Digital Hotel integrates with hotel television, Wi-Fi, virtual telephone exchanges, video surveillance and video analytics. The partners plan to study customer requirements and develop additional services.
